RACDC - Community and Economic Development
RACDC Provides Economic Development Support to our Region & its Towns: Randolph, Braintree, and Brookfield.
- Developing grant proposals for VCDP programs and other State and Federal grant programs
- Administering ongoing State and Federally funded projects
- Working with the Town of Randolph, the Randolph Area Chamber of Commerce, the State and others to plan long term economic development policies and infrastructure requirements
- Working to attract new businesses, retain jobs, and expand existing opportunities in our region for a healthy and diverse local economy
Current and past projects include:
Construction of a 23,000 square foot office building on the site of the former village school, to serve as headquarters for DuBois & King, Inc., a leading Vermont engineering firm.
Grant funding and grant management for Randolph's downtown redevelopment, including the rebuilding of Randolph after the fires of 1992-93, streetscape development, and rehabilitation of downtown buildings.
