Amy's Cool Fabric Creations at Open Studio Weekend
Randolph craft artist Amy Brousseau, who many people know from her handwoven wool rugs and block printed solar eclipse shirts she's sold in the past, will be selling her new sewn fabric creations at Open Studio Weekend, this Saturday Oct. 4th, from 10am to 5pm at the White River Craft Center at 50 Randolph Ave in Randolph. She will be selling handmade bags made from a variety of colorful, unusual and funky patterns, combining her block printing and other fun details in both small and larger tote bag sizes. She will also have hand dyed cotton dish towels in a wide range of colors; hand dyed and sewn organic cotton coasters with creative and colorful stitching; and short waist aprons with pockets in a wide range of different fun patterns, colors and details.
There will be other studio artists at the Craft Center showing their work as well, including printmaking, jewelry, painting, multi-media assemblage, photography and sculpture.
Amy will be there with her work on Saturday only, but the other studios will be open on both Saturday and Sunday, 10am-5pm. There is also an excellent printmaking show in the main gallery that is worth seeing.
