RACDC Retail Business Consultation Program 2025

RACDC is happy to announce the launch of a grant-funded pilot program to provide subsidized retail design consultations to a limited number of downtown Randolph businesses for the fall and winter of 2025-26. Applications are open as of October 8, 2025, and are due by October 27, 2025. The link to apply is below.

The consultations will be with experienced merchandising designer Kate Kauffman. Kate is the owner of Grease & Glitter Studio, a creative design studio based in Randolph that supports small businesses through visual merchandising, improved store design/layout, and unique window displays. She brings nearly 10 years of creative problem-solving experience, working for retailers like Anthropologie, west elm, and Cabot, to help independent retailers and restaurateurs improve their customers’ experience, drive sales, and increase foot traffic.

We are aiming to provide an estimated 6 consultations for the 2025-26 pilot program. Although this means that spaces are limited for 2025-26, we encourage you to apply as we hope to continue this program in subsequent years!

Fine print: This program is currently open only to businesses in downtown Randolph, Vermont, with a retail store or sit-down restaurant location. Applications are due by October 27, 2025, at 6 pm ET. Submitting an application does not guarantee your business will receive a consultation.
