Hollywood, VT at Playhouse | Hitchcock, Vermont Edition

Sunday, February 1, 2026 - 6:00pm to 8:30pm02/01/2026 11:00pm Hollywood, VT at Playhouse | Hitchcock, Vermont Edition Thank you to everyone who joined us in 2025 at the Randolph Playhouse for Baby Boom in November and White Christmas over the holidays. A full house, familiar faces, and shared laughs made those screenings feel like a real community moment and a reminder of how lucky we are to have this historic theatre in town. We're continuing the Hollywood, VT series on Sunday, February 1 at 6 pm with Alfred Hitchcock's The Trouble with Harry — a quietly quirky dark comedy where body appears in a Vermont town, and the real mystery is why no one seems all that upset about it. Shot in Stowe, Craftsbury and Morrisville, the film had it's world premiere in Barre back in 1955 to benefit New England Flood Relief, Hitchcock and the stars were in attendance! The evening will include Playhouse trivia, Hitchcock-inspired artwork on display by Rachi Farrow, a limited run of original commemorative artwork for purchase by Hettie Stearns, archival materials from the film's original premiere, and lemonade afterward for anyone who feels like lingering and chatting. If that sounds like your kind of winter evening, you might want to put it on your calendar now. Tickets available online: https://playhouseflicks.com/showtime/the-trouble-with-harry/ See you at the movies!
