PoemTown Randolph continues with our next live event this Thursday, April 16 at 7 PM in Chandler's Esther Mesh room. The reading features a Vermont favorite and reigning poetry slam champion, Geof Hewitt, from Calais. Geof has degrees from Cornell, Johns Hopkins, and the University of Iowa. He is the author of four books of poems and three books for teachers and regularly hosts poetry slams throughout the state. He worked for the state arts council and for the Vermont Department of Education. Now retired, Geof offers writing and performance workshops throughout the state. And mark your calendars now for our finale event on Saturday, April 25th at 7 PM at Silloway Maple Sugar House with farmer poets led by Taylor Mardis Katz.
