Día De Los Muertos - Food, Art, Community
Celebrate Día de los Muertos at the White River Craft Center!
Bring your family, invite a friend, and join us for a free community celebration of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)! Come enjoy delicious food, make art, learn about the holiday, and honor the memories of loved ones.
Día de los Muertos is a Mexican tradition celebrated internationally and honored by members of our own community. It's a time to remember loved ones who have passed through art, food, storytelling, and gathering together.
Here's what's happening:
**Food by the Randolph Technical Career Center Culinary Program — Enjoy delicious food prepared by local culinary students, available by donation!
**Hands-on crafts — Fun, creative activities for all ages.
**Pan de Muerto from Alta's Conchas — Purchase traditional Mexican sweet bread or pick up your preorders.
**Community altar (ofrenda) — Visit and contribute to a shared altar honoring loved ones who have passed. The community ofrenda is made by community collaborations annually, between Upper Valley Services, Randolph Union High School Racial Justice and World Languages programs
**Information and community connections — Learn more about the holiday, its traditions, and local community resources offered by RUHS RJ
If you would like to participate from afar- Email a photo of a loved one you'd like to honor to info@whiterivercraftcenter.org, and WRCC staff will print and add it to the community altar on your behalf.
Free and open to everyone! No registration necessary. Stop by, share a memory, make something beautiful, and celebrate the traditions and people that make our community special.
We hope to see you there!
