The 45th annual Brookfield Ice Harvest and Winterfest will be held at the Floating Bridge on Saturday, January 27, from 10:00 to 3:00. For folks unfamiliar, this is a demonstration of old ice harvesting tools and a discussion about the history of ice harvest in Brookfield and New England, along with a chance to get out on the ice and skate, play broomball, sled on the hill above the pond, and have some hot cocoa.
