Saturday, March 14, 2026 - 3:00pm to 5:00pm03/14/2026 7:00pm Upper Valley Baroque Performs Bach at Chander Upper Valley Baroque celebrates its 5th season with an all-Bach program featuring ~50 performers — orchestra, chorus, and soloists — using period instruments. What's on the program: - Easter Oratorio, BWV 249 — a dramatic, uplifting work with trumpets, arias, and chorus telling the story of Christ's resurrection - Der Geist hilft unser Schwachheit auf (The Spirit gives aid to our weakness), BWV 226, a comforting, intimate piece - Magnificat, BWV 243 — glorious, festive, and brilliantly concise setting of Mary's hymn of praise Saturday, March 14 at 3 p.m. — Chandler Center for the Arts, Randolph, VT Get tickets at chandler-arts.org, at the door, or call UVB at 203-240-1164. Free for kids. "I really wanted to conclude this fifth season of Upper Valley Baroque with celebratory and uplifting music, but also with Bach, which is how this enterprise started.
