RACDC Board of Directors

Patrick French

Patrick French, emeritus board member, was a founding member of the RACDC Board of Directors. He also served as the Assessor for the town of Randolph until his retirement in 2018. He holds a B.A and an M.A from UVM. He currently lives in Randolph with his wife Patsy French, who formerly served as a Vermont State Senator. They have two grown children.

Peter Reed

President

Peter Reed is the President of RACDC’s board of directors and has been a member since 2015. His primary interests related to RACDC’s mission is economic development and job creation in our service area and building collaboration and cohesion among downtown businesses. Peter, now retired, served as the Senior Community Banking Officer for Northfield Savings Bank at the Bethel and Randolph branches. He earned a BA in Economics at Earlham College in Indiana and an MBA at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Peter currently serves on the Gifford Medical Center Board, and the Randolph Sunrise Rotary Club. Peter and his wife live in Braintree and his hobbies include astronomy, Christmas trees (he owns a Christmas Tree Farm, Braintree Balsams), and gardening.

Robert Wright

Treasurer

Robert (Bob) Wright is the interim Treasurer of the RACDC Board of Directors and has been on the board since 2014. He is the owner of Custom Castings of VT and works as a foundry and casting consultant. He is also a member of the Randolph Rotary Club (Noon club) and the New England Chapter of American Foundry Society. Bob previously worked as the General Manager at Vermont Castings for almost 29 years and served on the Gifford Medical Center Board of Directors for 11 years. Bob lives in Randolph with his wife, Rose. He is interested in science and technology, health, and education, caring for the environment, and disaster and humanitarian relief work.

Robert Moyer

Secretary

Robert (Bob) Moyer is the current Vice President of RACDC’s board of directors and has been a board member since 2012. His primary interest related to RACDC’s mission is providing housing and development services to the greater Randolph Community. Bob was the Rules Examiner for Amtrak in Massachusetts from October 1975 to June 2006. He earned his BA at New York State University College at Cortland in 1969. Bob is currently retired but still continues to be involved in his community, serving on the Braintree Planning Commission and Development Review Board. Bob and his husband live in Braintree, VT and his hobbies include hiking, canoeing, railroads, and current events.

Tom Ayres

Board Member

Tom Ayres is a retired senior administrator in the non-profit sector in Vermont, having served primarily in the healthcare, human services, and arts fields for nearly 30 years. In his retirement, he continues to work as the Senior Staff Writer for the award-winning Vermont Standard newspaper in Woodstock and the Upper Valley, concentrating primarily on housing, healthcare, and education issues in the region. In addition, he is a freelance writer and non-profit communications consultant. Tom also serves on the Randolph Selectboard. He lives on quiet Brook Street in Randolph Village with his wife, Anne Barrett, two dogs, Mabel and Otis, and Bengal/Egyptian Mau-mix kitty Jerry Lee, who is anything but quiet.

Cristine Maloney

Board Member

Dr. Cristine Maloney joined the Board of Directors in 2019. She is currently the Hospice Medical Director at Visiting Nurse and Hospice for Vermont and New Hampshire. She also works per diem for Gifford Health Care as the medical director of Menig Nursing home as well as performing palliative care consultative services. Cristine previously worked for RACDC from 1996-2002, initially as an AmeriCorps*VISTA member and then as the Housing Director. She earned a B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross and an MD from the University of Vermont. Cristine lives in Randolph with her husband.

Robert Sparadeo

Board Member

Robert (Bob) Sparadeo joined RACDC’s board of directors in 2016. He works on the sales team at LEDdynamics, a local company that engineers and manufactures LED drivers, modules and light engines for global distribution. They also provide services and education to promote LED technology as a medium of illumination. Bob previously managed retail stores specializing in sound equipment and musical instruments and is an alumnus of Berklee College of Music as well as Vermont Technical College. Bob lives in Randolph Center with his family and continues to perform music professionally.

Daniel Devoe

Board Member

Dan Devoe joined RACDC's board in 2018. He is the marketing director at Image Relay, a Vermont-based marketing technology company and certified B Corp. He has been active in startups and entrepreneurship for years, including as a co-founder of a legal services marketplace and as an early employee of the alcohol-delivery platform, Drizly. Before finding his way into technology, Dan practiced law in Massachusetts at Ropes & Gray LLP and for the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Dan received a B.A. and B.S. from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a law degree from the Boston University School of Law. Dan is also Vice Chair and a founding member of Randolph Area Asylum Seekers Support, serves as Secretary of Randolph's Development Review Board, and has served as Vice Chair of the board of Urbanity Dance, a contemporary dance and education organization in Boston, for the past ten years. Dan moved to the area in 2016 and lives in Randolph with his wife, Abby, and their boxer, Snacks.

Pamela Stafford

Board Member

Pam Stafford has been a member of RACDC’s board of directors since 2008. Her primary interests related to RACDC’s mission are community involvement, Joslyn House, and downtown projects. Pam has been in her current career as an attorney since 1989 after earning her Juris Doctorate from Vermont Law School. Other organizations that she is involved in are Randolph Rotary Club, Town of Randolph Trustee of Public Funds, Town of Randolph Justice of the Peace, and a member of the Orange County Bar Association. Pam lives in Randolph, VT and has one grown son. She enjoys reading, cooking, and gardening.
